GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1 . For Masters Degree Programs (Sr.1 to 28)
Only those candidates can apply who have passed PEC/PCATP accredited undergraduate degree ¡n relevant discipline, securing at least 60% marks under annual/term system OR CGPA 3 on the scale of 4 under semester system, along with at least 50% marks in GAT conducted by NTS.
2. For M.PhiI. Degree Programs (Sr.29 to 31)
Candidates having passed 16 years Master’s degree! BS (Four Years) degree by securing minimum 60% marks (in case of Annual/Term Examination System) or a CGPA 3.0 on the scale of 4.00 (in case of Semester System) in relevant discipline i.e., Mathematics/ Physics! Chemistry from a HEC recognized University, alongwith at least 50% marks in GAT conducted by NTS.
NOTE: Eligibility CGPA on scale other than 4 would be converted accordingly. For example, eligibility CGPA would be 3.75 on a scale of 5. Candidates having result in CGPA as well as percentage would be adjudged on CG PA.
The details of relevant undergraduate disciplines and other eligibility criteria applicable to individual programs are mentioned in the postgraduate prospectus.
FILLING OF APPLICATION FORMS AND AVAILABILITY OF PROSPECTUS
Application shall be filled online by logging on to http://admission.uet.edu.pk starting from Monday 02.12.2013. Completed application would be printed. The printout would include four copies of duly completed bank challan form indicating application processing fee of Rs.800/-. The fee would be deposited with Habib Bank Limited, UET Branch. Prospectus would be collected from the Admission Office after handing over Copy No.1 of the paid bank challan form.Completed application with all necessary attachments along with paid bank challan form shall be submitted to the respective departments from 03.12.2013 to 13.12.2013 during working days (Fridays 8:00 a.m to 12:00 noon. Mondays to Thursdays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
Note that ¡f a candidate ¡s applying in more than one department he/she shall deposit separate application processing fee for each department.
